Description

Turn your home electrical outlets into a high speed wired network, using the plug & play TP-Link Powerline Ethernet Adapter Kit.

Ideal for homes where a weak Wi-Fi signal or increased Wi-Fi radio interference is present, the TP-Link Powerline Ethernet Adapter is the ideal solution.

This quick and easy plug ‘n’ play kit uses your home’s existing electrical power-lines as a ready made ethernet network, enabling you to connect devices that are struggling to get a strong Wi-Fi signal and use a wired connection instead. Wired connections are faster and more reliable than wireless Wi-Fi signals, meaning you get the benefit of up to 100Mbps data transfer to prevent buffering and poor image quality on internet streaming and gaming.

The box contains the base unit, the remote unit and 2 x ethernet cables.

Simply plug the ‘base’ unit into a power outlet near your internet router, and then insert the end of one of the ethernet cables into the ‘base’ unit and the other end into a spare ethernet socket on your internet router.

Then take the ‘remote’ unit and plug that into a power outlet near the device that needs better internet connectivity, and insert the end of one of the ethernet cables into the ‘remote’ unit and the other end into the ethernet port of the device, such as a media player, IPTV box, gaming console etc.

Finally, press the ‘pair’ button on the ‘base’ unit for one second, and then press the ‘pair’ button on the ‘remote’ unit for one second. And that’s it – you’re good to go!

If you have solid green lights on both the ‘base’ and ‘remote’ units, then your network is up and running.
